The first clay book from Klutz was
such a success that the company came out with this new one in April of
1999. This is a wonderful book filled with clay projects for kids and a
supply of Sculpey clay to work with. Many of the projects can be created
by simply following the terrific illustrations, even without reading the
instructions. The clay is baked in the oven to create lasting figures.
My daughter chose this book from
everything in the toy store when her grandmother offered to buy her a
treat. I’m glad she did. It has provided years of entertainment. She
received the first clay book when she was seven, and recently, she and
her best friend spent hours creating sophisticated figures--the girls
are both twelve now. When other kids were in the store buying animals
and figures for dioramas for school, my daughter was always able to make
her own scale characters, and she had so much fun doing it! This is an
